Group lessons are a great way to not only learn from our teachers but to learn from the shared experience of other musicians/students interactions, questions, trial and error, and interplay. While we allow plenty of time for questions within a lesson, sometimes the topic at hand can be difficult to grasp in which a group lesson can really seal the deal through the interaction and perception of other students. Our group settings provide a specific topical selection based on the overall need of our student body. Each group lesson varies in length, averaging aprox 2 hours, and includes a prepared agenda and handouts by the instructor and an opportunity for QnA throughout the entirety of the lesson. Students are also encouraged to request group lesson topics in order to address their personal needs.

Some topics include:

- Conducted Jam Sessions

- Songwriting

- Soloing techniques (each workshop is a specific genre i.e. Rock, Blues, Metal, Jazz, etc.)

- Ear Training and Transcription: techniques to improve your learning and jamming by ear

- Applying Music Theory to Modern Music

- Odd Meter workshops

- Advanced improvisational composition
